Students in Mrs. Naas life skills class enjoyed a fun day of pumpkin carving with the help from some peers.
🎃It was such a fun process from picking out their own pumpkins, drawing the faces, scooping all the guts, and carving the faces while listening to Halloween music and socializing with our friends. This event is a class favorite every year! 👻🧟♂️

"I would like to nominate Dee Vahlenkamp this week for the Golden Talon Award. In the last several years, Dee has had many changes within her department, but even with all of those changes, Dee always seems to roll with the punches, never letting on the stress that she is under to provide meals to our students.
Dee is also the person that comes into contact with the biggest percentage of our student body. She always greets every student with a smile, letting each and everyone of them know that she cares about them. Thank you Dee for making a difference in many of our students' lives, and for being a positive role model that many of them need."
