at the Bloomer Athletic Complex in honor of longtime coach and mentor, Coach Jim Van
Gorden.
Coach Van Gorden, known for his leadership, integrity, and commitment to excellence, served
as head football coach for 33 years and played a pivotal role in building a strong foundation for
Bloomer’s football program. Under his guidance, countless players not only excelled on the field
but also developed into leaders off of it.
Community members, alumni, and former players are encouraged to attend the ceremony
and show their appreciation for Coach Van Gorden’s years of dedication and service.
