Did you know? Every donation matters. Each unit of blood collected can help save up to 3 lives and contribute to student scholarship opportunities through American Red Cross programs.

While not every single unit equals a set dollar amount, the more units we collect, the more our school can qualify for scholarship opportunities and student incentives!

BES is proud to recognize the Kind Hero Award recipients for April! Mr. Normand is a substitute teacher in our district. He has done a wonderful job creating such positive relationships with students in our whole building! Every class loves to have him as a substitute! Mr. Normand always has such a positive and happy attitude! He is always willing to lend a hand and does a fantastic job subbing!

Mrs. Rothbauer is a reading interventionist and is a true kind hero because she gives children one of life's greatest gifts-the ability to read! She doesn't just teach letters and sounds, she also sparks confidence, imagination and a lifelong love of learning. Through her patience, encouragement and belief in every child, she opens doors to new worlds, big dreams and endless possibilities!
