Summary of the following information:
📢 Athletic Training Services Update
The School District of Bloomer’s athletic training contract with Mayo Clinic Health System expired at the end of the 2025–26 school year, and Mayo is no longer providing athletic training services.
The district continues to actively explore options for consistent coverage. Independent certified athletic trainers will be utilized for individual events when available; however, coverage cannot be guaranteed at every event. For larger events, including football games, the district will continue working with local emergency medical services.
When an athletic trainer is unavailable, trained coaches and school personnel will provide care within the scope of their responsibilities. Parents or guardians will be contacted when an injury requires evaluation or treatment beyond what school personnel can provide.
The safety and well-being of our student-athletes remain our highest priority. We appreciate the patience and support of our families and community as we continue pursuing both short- and long-term solutions.
If you know a certified athletic trainer interested in providing services or assisting with event coverage, please contact the Bloomer High School Activities Office.

🌎❤️ Making a Difference Beyond Our School! ❤️🌎
Last year’s 5th & 6th Grade Student Council officers presented a donation check today to our partner school, ICEP in Haiti! 🇭🇹
Throughout the school year, our Student Council members worked hard on their Hats to Haiti initiative, raising funds to support the students and families at ICEP. We are so proud that their efforts allowed us to make this donation and continue supporting our friends across the world.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Hats to Haiti fundraiser and helped our students turn their ideas into meaningful action!

Congratulations to Shyre Mann & Archie. Shyre was nominated by Mr. Chad Steinmetz for the Golden Talon Award this week.
"Shyre is our School Psychologist, and she shares her time between the middle school and high school.
Shyre is an instrumental member of a number of our teams at the high school, including the Academic Success Committee, our Student Services Team, and our MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) Team.
Whether we are looking at academic, behavioral, attendance, or SEL data, Shyre is our data expert.
She organizes, analyzes, and prepares data for our meetings so that we can effectively plan for student supports and meet the variety of needs of our students. Thank you for all you do Shyre & Archie"
FYI: Archie is one of the therapy dogs in the Bloomer School District. He loves staff, students, pets and treats!! Thank you Archie for being here for our staff and students.
