Our 4K afternoon class had an awesome time on our field trip to the Fire Station and EMS! 🚒🚑

6th grade ELA students have been hard at work, finishing their novel Hidden Figures, comparing and contrasting the book vs. movie, making paper rockets, completing a silent argument to practice their persuasive writing skills, and then creating a group story. Keep up the great work!

Mrs. Nelson is a paraprofessional at BES and consistently leads with compassion, patience and a genuine heart for others. She shows up every day with a positive attitude, supports her team without hesitation and treats everyone, students and staff alike, with respect and warmth. Her kindness does not go unnoticed as it creates a welcoming and uplifting environment for all of us. We are truly better because of her.
Mrs. Riesterer is a retired BES teacher and is always helpful to teachers and students. She continues to be a wonderful support to our school community! She serves as an amazing substitute, volunteer and mentor. She shows genuine care and kindness to all children while also holding them accountable and encouraging them to be the best they can be.
