I would like to nominate my friend, my neighbor, my fellow teacher of freshmen... Erin Sprague! Erin is big-hearted and caring. She sees the good in all of her students and works hard to build connections with each of them. Her sense of humor and her kindness endear her to everyone around her. You're the best Spraguers! #bloomerhawks

WANTED: Co-Director or Assistant Director for School Musical

Generosity, Empathy. Selflessness, Kindness. These words describe the hearts of our Bloomer Elementary School family (students, families, staff) following our recent Penny Harvest. Over $3,100 was collected in 2 weeks! Donations in the amount of $1,500 each will be made to the Marshfield Cancer Center in honor of our friend, Vanessa Sieg (high school teacher, former BES parent, community friend), as she fights breast cancer and to RocSolid Foundation in honor of Ramsey Dommer, daughter of our 4th grade teacher Mr. Dommer (and 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Dommer), who fought and beat cancer. RocSolid Foundation builds custom playset for children battling cancer. We are humbled by the strength of these families and honored to make donations in their names to these wonderful organizations! We are so proud of everyone involved in making our Penny Harvest and these donations happen! Thank you!

On Friday, Ms. Begalke’s second graders were busy sewing their Christmas stockings for their gift exchange! Thank you to Grandma Rita Bogyo, Grandma Carol Buchholtz, Great-Grandma Cel Michaelis, Aimee Skar, and Meggan Bixby for helping us! They had a TON of patience as they helped to untangle needles and get us started again! The stockings are hanging outside our classroom if you want to swing by and check them out!
