"I'd like to hand off the golden talon award to Jim Huston. He will be very much missed next year.

Navigating the complex political climate of today's world with students respectfully and without bias could only be described as one of the most difficult tasks in the building, Jim does it routinely and professionally at a high level. It's vital to encourage and empower students to think deeply, critically, and with an open-mind.

We're so lucky to have had Jim do that with our students at BHS over the course of his tenure. Bravo-job well done, friend. Proud to know you and have worked with you! "

This marked their second competition of the season, and they delivered an impressive performance—finishing 13th out of 34 teams! 👏

The team also stepped up as Team 8 Alliance Captain during the elimination rounds—an incredible accomplishment showcasing their leadership and skill. 💪

To top it all off, they brought home the Rookie Award! 🏆 What an amazing milestone for this growing program.
