The High School and Middle School choirs had a super fun day of music-making this past Friday!
Thank you Dr Watkins, Director of Choral Studies UW-EC, for bringing your knowledge and expertise to our choral program.
The choirs performed and then received a clinic on the music they had prepared. 🎶🎤
Family and friends in attendance gained insight into the learning process of choral music. Surround yourself with great people—they will make you better.

Not only did Dom lead our team to victory, but he also secured his place as the all-time scoring leader, surpassing Payton Dachel's record set in 2018 with 1495 career points! 🏆
What an outstanding achievement, Dom!

Day 2 of our Boat Regatta.🛶
Have you ever wondered how a large supertanker filled with oil can float? Objects submerged in a fluid such as water appear to weigh less than they do when they are not in the water. The liquid exerts a buoyant force on the object. Archimedes is credited with discovering that the buoyant force on an object is equal to the
weight of the displaced fluid. Archimedes Principle also applies to floating objects. An object floats on a liquid if its density is less than that of the fluid. For our supertanker to float it must displace a volume of water equal to its weight.
Objective: To build a boat out of cardboard and duct tape capable of holding two people that can be launched and paddled across a pool.
🚣Race day is 2/28/24 11:45 - 2:15pm at the Chippewa Falls YMCA

🎭🚌 Just a friendly reminder about our upcoming field trip to the Eau Claire Children's Theater! 🎉

The BES 5K friends would like to thank our special guest visitor, Marge Hibbering (Red Bird) for taking the time to share many stories and artifacts originating from her people in the Anishinaabe-Ojibwe tribe.
5K friends wrapped up our unit on Native Americans by learning and immersing ourselves in local Native American history. We would like to say, miigwech or thank you to Red Bird for teaching us that Native American culture and history are not just a part of our past, but with us today and every day.
