This week Mrs. Otto has nominated Mrs. Taylor Zakoski for the Golden Talon Award . "Taylor has taught with me for at least one period the last couple of years. I appreciate her calm presence and positive attitude while also holding students accountable.

She cares deeply about all students and finds ways to connect with them. Taylor asks questions to learn how to best serve students in mathematics and strives to learn more to ensure students are thinking. If I have questions about individual needs, she is always helpful and is always willing to listen."

🏈The School District of Bloomer is proud to announce the official dedication of the football field
at the Bloomer Athletic Complex in honor of longtime coach and mentor, Coach Jim Van
Gorden.

Coach Van Gorden, known for his leadership, integrity, and commitment to excellence, served
as head football coach for 33 years and played a pivotal role in building a strong foundation for
Bloomer’s football program. Under his guidance, countless players not only excelled on the field
but also developed into leaders off of it.

Community members, alumni, and former players are encouraged to attend the ceremony
and show their appreciation for Coach Van Gorden’s years of dedication and service.
