6th graders in ELA Enrichment had th e opportunity to enter the Eau Claire Leader Telegram’s Holiday Memory Contest. We are happy to announce that one of our students earned honorable mention for the grades 6-8 category and had his story published in the newspaper!

Ms.Gesler's high school Baking & Pastry class got in the holiday spirit today by creating a buffet-style dish of various foods to enjoy as a class before break!🙂 The menu included: Baked Corn Dip, Grinch Cookies, Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole, Kitchen Sink Cookies, Sugar Cookie Bars, and Bacon-Wrapped Smokies. This week the 5th graders in Mrs. Bloom's 5th Grade Social Studies classes have been working hard on their "Christmas/Winter Holiday Around the World" Research Projects. They completed research using credible sources, websites, and books, and then created slideshow presentations explaining what they learned. Students then had the opportunity to share their slides with their classmates, and some even took it a step further and brought in food items related to their country! Way to go 5th graders! #bloomerhawks

Mrs. Cowell’s and Ms. Primeau’s classes enjoyed getting together for buddy time! The kiddos read stories and decorated cookies together! 🎄 #bloomerhawks

Choir had the amazing opportunity to sing Handel’s Messiah with other schools at the Shell Lake Arts Center today!🎤🎶 The complete work is a mere 252 pages from start to finish and was written in 1741! We got to see our favorite accompanist as well, Ms Tam! #bloomerhawks
