Mr. Behling and Mr. Smikrud's Business-Service Learning Class hosted a small carnival and collected a large amount of food for the Bloomer-New Auburn Food Pantry!
This community service product began with "business pitches" for the Tri-3 service project and the resulting carnival consisted of ideas pulled from multiple presentations. The students planned and ran this project with the assistance of their teachers.

2nd Graders used their creativity and constructed paper airplanes for their end of the year countdown. All the students competed head to head to see who could throw their airplane the farthest. Here are our final four airplane throwers! ✈️

In June, SPARKS Student Council recognizes Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Brunner as our Kind Hero Award recipients. Mrs. Myers is a speech-language teacher at BES and she is always willing to help wherever needed and is amazing with our youngest learners.
Mrs. Myers goes above and beyond to support students in communicating and being their best. She also gives extra time and energy at meetings, concerts, family nights, library story hour, early childhood playgroup and more. Thank you, Mrs. Myers, for helping students grow every day at BES!
Mrs. Brunner teaches 5K at BES and exemplifies kindness through every interaction she has with students, staff, and the community. She goes above and beyond to build meaningful connections not only with current students, but also with those she has taught in the past. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering support make a lasting impact across the school. Whether she is offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or advocating for what's best for students and coworkers, Mrs. Brunner leads with her heart. Her kindness is truly one of a kind!

End of the Year Field Trip Reminders!!
Fourth Graders in Mrs. Cowell's had a need for speed on Tuesday during Bike Safety. They rode to the Duck Park and played. Getting to spend time around town and with our friendly police officers was a great experience!
Fifth grade ELA students performed on the stage in the auditorium today. It is clear we have a group of very talented actors and actresses in our midst!
