🎉 We're excited to have Cassidy join our dedicated team of educators and staff.
Cassidy grew up in Ladysmith, WI. "I got my first bachelor's degree from UW- La Crosse in Biology and Psychology. I got my second bachelor's degree from UW- Madison in Nursing! This is my first year working in a school setting. However, my previous experience is as an ICU nurse, which I still do casually at the hospital. I’m very excited to start something new as a nurse in the School District of Bloomer!
I love being outside, cooking, traveling, gardening, reading, walking my dog, and spending time with my friends and family! I have even started dabbling in sewing- I really enjoy trying new things!
I have a fiancé, Zach. We just got engaged in July before the 4th. We also have our golden doodle, Willow! She will be two in September. "

🎉 We're excited to have Dylan join our dedicated team of educators and staff.
Dylan grew up in Bloomer, and graduated from BHS.
"I went to school at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and just recently graduated in May! This is my first year in education; however, I spent January - May as an intern teacher at Cornell Middle and High School!
When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outside. I usually end up going on walks, hammocking, or hiking through a state park!"

A huge thank you to our 5/6 student council leaders from last year for helping guide the way! 🐾 We’re excited for an amazing year ahead!

A donation of $529 to the Blackhawk Education Foundation was received from the congregations and children of a recent vacation bible school from St. John's Lutheran Church, Our Saviors Lutheran Church, and the United Church of Christ in Bloomer.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FFA AGRISCIENCE PARTICIPANTS! These students worked diligently throughout the 2024-25 school year to research a topic of agriculture where they recognized a need. These students dedicated countless hours to their research and presentations.
At the State FFA Convention in June, all five students (Josie Johnson, Alex Sarauer, Natalie Meckley, Cody Thompson, and Gage Sieg) received gold placings, with four of the students also being recommended to Nationals.
Alex, Cody, and Gage have been awarded a NATIONAL BRONZE placing.
Natalie Meckley was announced as one of the top 9 in the Nation and will move on to virtual interviews this fall. She will walk the stage at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, this October to find out her official placing.
Congratulations to all students and good luck to Natalie as you advance on! #bloomerhawks
