Generosity, Empathy. Selflessness, Kindness. These words describe the hearts of our Bloomer Elementary School family (students, families, staff) following our recent Penny Harvest. Over $3,100 was collected in 2 weeks! Donations in the amount of $1,500 each will be made to the Marshfield Cancer Center in honor of our friend, Vanessa Sieg (high school teacher, former BES parent, community friend), as she fights breast cancer and to RocSolid Foundation in honor of Ramsey Dommer, daughter of our 4th grade teacher Mr. Dommer (and 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Dommer), who fought and beat cancer. RocSolid Foundation builds custom playset for children battling cancer. We are humbled by the strength of these families and honored to make donations in their names to these wonderful organizations! We are so proud of everyone involved in making our Penny Harvest and these donations happen! Thank you!

IMPORTANT: After reviewing the pictures or doing a drive by of the porch pots, please choose in order of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
You must judge for all three in order for vote to count.

This week Ms. Kostner would like to nominate the shoe guru and superhero himself Mr. Herrick for the Golden Talon Award. "Mr. Herrick has a great sense of humor and demonstrates extraordinary commitment to his students. He is looked up to by many present and past students. He is a pleasure to work with and BHS is lucky to have him."
