This week Ms. Dietsche would like to nominate Jill Kuehni for the Golden Talon Award. "I have always heard great things about Jill, but about a month ago, I got to witness one of those in person. A student needed to complete a fundraiser to be able to purchase a choir jacket. Jill found this out the day orders were due and jumped right in getting staff members involved. At the end of the day, I received an envelope with MORE than the student needed--ordered and paid for! In the midst of crazy busy schedules, she took time to help an individual student that day--something that I will not forget and that student will always remember as well. She embodies selflessness and acting to get a job done! Thank you Jill!"

Mrs. Mickelson’s class enjoyed learning about Johnny Appleseed on Monday. Our favorite fun fact was that he was thought to wear a pit on his head!

Ms. Jocelyn Dietsche was nominated by Mr. Tiller for the Golden Talon Award. "It's been a thrill watching the choir program blossom under her direction. Not only have numbers skyrocketed in each building but more importantly, the quality of programming continues to grow. She's gone FAR beyond her role as a choir teacher to really help kids out directly, making sure they're in good standing with other classes-to the likes of which I have not seen. Congrats Jocelyn!"
