We have great news to share. Generosity from our Bloomer community has ensured every child starts this school year with the tools they need to succeed. Because of your support in last year's fundraising campaign, the Blackhawk Educational Foundation is supporting Bloomer Schools in purchasing over $50,000 in student supply kits for all preschool through 8th-grade students for the upcoming school year!
Two community members, Ed Kleingartner and Tom Rufledt, have once again committed to matching every dollar donated to the Blackhawk Educational Fund from now until October 1, 2026. This year's goal is to raise $50,000 for future supplies to enhance the educational journey of K-12 students and/or to support educators’ innovative learning projects. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation directly to the Community Foundation of Chippewa County by visiting their website https://www.yourlegacyforever.org/donate/ and selecting the Blackhawk Education Fund from the drop-down menu. Cash or checks made out to CFCC can also be dropped off at the district office, next to Bloomer High School, or sent directly to the Community Foundation of Chippewa County, 404 ½ N Bridge Street, PO Box 153, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 by including the Blackhawk Education Fund in the memo line.
