The School District of Bloomer School Board is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Lee Bush who will serve as interim superintendent for the 2023-2024 school year.
Dr. Bush has 46 years of experience in education. During his career, Lee has been an elementary and special education teacher, principal, athletic director, and superintendent. Since 2014 he has served as an interim superintendent for five school districts. Lee’s most recent interim position has been with the School District of New Auburn during the 2022-2023 school year. Dr. Bush earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Miami.
Dr. Bush will begin his duties as the interim superintendent for the Bloomer School District on July 1, 2023. He will replace current superintendent, Dr. Brian Misfeldt, who has accepted a position as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Altoona School District. A search for a permanent superintendent will be conducted by the Bloomer School Board during the coming school year.
