Our Bloomer kids did amazing at 10U State! ~ They brought home a TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!
The Bloomer Swim Team is part of Northern Lakes Aquatic Club (NLAC), which is our USA Swimming team. When we compete outside of the regular NLAC season, our swimmers compete under the NLAC banner. This structure helps keep costs down for families and allows more kids in Northern Wisconsin the opportunity to participate in Swimming.
This weekend, NLAC won the Division 2 State Championship in the 10U division.
Bloomer students Gabrey Licht and Trajon Schumacher led the way in the team scoring, earning High Point honors within NLAC for the girls and boys divisions.
All 5 of our swimmers, 3 of whom are Bloomer School District Kids, all scored points towards the team total!
We’re incredibly proud of all of them!

In PE, including weight lifting, he brings great energy, pushes kids to do their best, and helps them build strength, confidence, and teamwork along the way.
He spends countless hours with our athletes, helping them grow their skills and understand what it means to compete with character. On top of all that, AJ’s smile and sense of humor make a difference every single day. He connects easily with students and makes school a more positive place. He’s a big part of what makes Bloomer special and very deserving of the Golden Talon Award."
