On Wednesday, our Junior class members had the opportunity to explore their futures through college visits, while our 9th and 10th grade students focused on doing their best during state testing.
From campus tours to testing rooms, it was a day full of growth, focus, and new experiences! 🎓✏️

Last week, members of the Bloomer High School Band and Choir participated in the Solo & Ensemble Festival held at Rice Lake High School, where they performed for a judge to receive valuable feedback.
The following students received starred firsts and will move on to perform and State Solo & Ensemble on May 2nd at UW Eau Claire.
Choir Students: Hallie Hoffman, Gage Stenner, Sophia Burt, Alexa Rhodes, Leif Lundgren, Paige Bixby, and Margaret Shakal
Gage Stenner and a Girls Ensemble also received "Best in Site" For their performances.
Band Students: Georgia Tiller, Adele Lundgren, Owen Kellen, Liam Buchholtz (Middle School Student), Christian Lundgren (Middle School Student)

This week Mr. Huston was nominated by Mr. Tiller for the Golden Talon Award.
"I'd like to hand off the golden talon award to Jim Huston. He will be very much missed next year.
Navigating the complex political climate of today's world with students respectfully and without bias could only be described as one of the most difficult tasks in the building, Jim does it routinely and professionally at a high level. It's vital to encourage and empower students to think deeply, critically, and with an open-mind.
We're so lucky to have had Jim do that with our students at BHS over the course of his tenure. Bravo-job well done, friend. Proud to know you and have worked with you! "
