Thank you to our community as they generously donate to the Hawks Corner here at BHS.
Before Christmas, we received $400 from the Clergy account and today received $504 from Our Savior Lutheran Church.
These donations have been used for various needs over the years. Sometimes there are student-specific needs/requests that we honor and other times we use that money to restock hygiene and some food supplies.
This year, the Hawks Corner has seen a tremendous increase in use due to rising prices of goods. Having this resource is invaluable to our students and their families and we hope to continue this for years to come! The BHS Student Council members should be proud of the impact they have had by keeping this area well-stocked. I am extremely proud of them!

A Trapping Adventure!
Mrs.Haasā Field Conservation class had the opportunity to learn from TWO experienced Trappers!
Ron and Jerry Sromek showed the students their tips and tricks for setting beaver traps, a plethora of furs, and demonstrated how to skin a beaver to ensure quality of the fur is kept!
It was a great experience! Thank you Sromekās for showing us the ins and outs of trapping!
