🤒 Too Sick for School? Here’s How to Know! 🏫
Sometimes staying home is the best way to recover and protect others. Here are some guidelines to help you decide:
🌡️ A fever of 100.4°F or higher (they should be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning).
🤢 Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
😷 Serious coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
👀 Red, itchy eyes that could be contagious.

💡 Tip: Encourage rest, fluids, and lots of TLC. A day at home today helps them bounce back tomorrow! 💪

🏴☠️The kiddos enjoyed watching How I Became a Pirate at the Oxford Children’s Theatre. Our field trip was fully funded thanks to PIE and the fundraising efforts. Thank you to all who have donated!

BMS had a visit from author Kevin Lovegreen, author of the popular Lucky Luke book series!
Fourth graders joined us for his presentation and Mr. Lovegreen stuck around to talk with small groups of students about short stories they are currently writing.
Like many of our students, Mr. Lovegreen is passionate about the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Students enjoyed his stories and had all sorts of questions about his many adventures! #bloomerhawks
6th graders in Mrs. Paroubek's ELA Enrichment class had the opportunity to enter the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram's Holiday Memory Contest.
We are happy to report that two of our Bloomer students made it in the top 3!
Kylee earned 3rd place, and Lincoln won the contest for the grades 6-8 category and earned $25.
