Alna Pride (Barth)
Alna Pride is a tetraploid showing an almost orchid like form. Sometime referred to as "informal," this form makes an interesting contrast to the flat or recurved forms. The lower petal also shows a "pinch" - the effect of a petal's edges folding back from the mid-rib showing a pinched look.
Alna Pride is a fairly tall daylily that demands attention from across your garden.
The red eye and contrasting yellow appear on a large bloom that often reaches 8 inches across or more.
