Special Education Teacher
Phone: Ext 4145
Hi! My name is Rebecca Lueck and I am a Special Education Teacher at Bloomer High School. I grew up on a dairy farm in Bloomer, Wisconsin and graduated from Bloomer High School in 2004. I attended college at UW-Eau Claire and graduated in December 2008 with a comprehensive degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with certifications in Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavior Disabilities. In May of 2013, I also earned a Masters Degree in Special Education from UW-Eau Claire.
The 2016-17 school year marks my eighth year of teaching special education. Before returning to teach in my hometown in 2012, I worked for three years as a high school special education teacher in the Chippewa Falls School District. Throughout my career, I have served as a self-contained teacher of students with Emotional/Behavior Disabilities as well as a teacher in a cross-categorical setting in both the middle and high school levels.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Travis, and our two sons, Jacob (2) and David (4 months). Some of my hobbies and interests include: playing the piano, reading, making puzzles, skiing, gardening, traveling, farming, and spending time with my family, friends, and our two St. Bernards (Buddy and Bella).
I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with students at Bloomer High School.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns throughout the year.
