Superintendent’s Message

The mission statement of the Bloomer Schools calls us all to work together to equip our children with the skills and character necessary to work productively in society. Together we can challenge our youth to reach their dreams, help empower them as they learn, and show support as they achieve success in and out of the classroom. The vision and goals of the district focuses our work as we prepare our children for a future we cannot imagine. As a district, we move forward on the next phases of a new five year strategic plan which will focus the district until 2020.  It has been an exciting process!

During these past few years our community has generously supported the improvements of recreational spaces at the football field, construction of a new elementary school and the construction of four beautiful ball fields. The middle school, built in 2001, along with the stadium and track, shows a commitment to our youth both in and out of the classroom. The community has continued to encourage our progress. The Bloomer Board of Education has developed a long range plan as well as a comprehensive strategic plan to take the district into the future. Progress continues each year.

I am thankful to our staff and community members who strengthened the strategic plan and improved facilities across the community.  I remain grateful for those who work daily with students to ensure academic, athletic, and character success.  I am committed to achieving the community expectations for educational excellence and expanding opportunities by working with our local business and education partners.  We know our goals are ambitious and rigorous, but believe them to be achievable. Together we will build students of character who are globally aware of the needs of others, and who can articulate their learning in meaningful ways. What a great legacy!

I am proud of the School District's achievements and remain grateful for the time and dedication of staff, volunteers, community and business partners who help the Bloomer Schools grow stronger with each passing year. I look forward to working with the students, staff and community as we meet our strategic initiatives in a collaborative partnership.  Together we make a difference!

Sincerely,
