Student of the Week Interviews

Week of February 13th through February 17th

Grade 8: Dalton Cook

Dalton was selected by the 8th grade team. Mrs. Reichardt, who nominated Dalton says, “He does a great job participating and answering questions in class. Thanks for being a great example volunteering! Keep it up! Dalton’s reaction to being chosen student of the week was, “I’m very surprised!”

Dalton is the son of Tony and Lisa Cook. He has two older sisters named Jailyn and Harley and one younger sister named Shelby who is in 5th grade. He has one dog named Molly and one cat named Rosey. When Dalton grows up he would like to be a Professional Basketball Player or a Phy Ed Teacher. He enjoys playing basketball and football and he knows how to juggle. His favorite holiday is Halloween. “I like going to haunted houses,” says Dalton. His favorite thing about school is seeing all of his friends. Lastly, one goal that Dalton has for the year is, “to get a 4.0.” 

Grade 7: Lexi Post

Lexi was selected by the 7th grade team. Ms. Williams, who nominated Lexi says, “She is such a pleasure to have in class. She asks great questions, participates, and works well with peers. Great work Lexi! Lexi’s reaction to being chosen student of the week was, “I’m surprised and I was wondering what teacher chose me.”

Lexi is the daughter of John and Nancy Post. She has one older brother named Mitch who is a senior and one older sister named Grace who is a sophomore. When Lexi grows up she wants  to be a Nurse Anesthetist. She enjoys volleyball, reading and watching tv. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. “It’s close to my birthday,” says Lexi. Her favorite thing about school is getting to do experiments and recess. Lastly, one goal that Lexi has for the year is to, “beat my sister in track.”

Grade 6: Caylie Faschingbauer

Caylie was selected by the 6th grade team. Ms. Paroubek, who nominated Caylie, says, “She always does her best work. She is very kind and respectful, and has a fun, positive personality! Keep up the good work! Caylie’s reaction to being chosen student of the week was, “I’m happy!”

Caylie is the daughter of Andrea Blank and Joe Faschingbauer. She has two older sisters named Brenna who is a sophomore and Ashley who is a senior. She has one dog named Bella. When Caylie grows up she is interested in becoming a veterinarian or a career working with animals. She enjoys playing outside with her friends. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Her favorite thing about school is learning new things. Lastly, one goal that Caylie has for the year is to, “get all A’s in my classes.”

Grade 5: Brennan Anderson

Brennan was selected by the 5th grade team. Mrs. Bloom who nominated Brennan says, “He is a model student and a true model of the Blackhawk Way! Keep up the great organization, respect and responsibility. Congrats!” Brennan’s reaction to being chosen student of the week was, “I feel really special!”

Brennan is the son of Bill and Carrie Anderson. He has two younger brothers named Cal who is in 3rd grade and Aiden who is in kindergarten and one older sister named Sandra who is a freshman. He has one dog named Sophie and one cat named Kitty. When Brennan grows up he wants to be a Lego Designer. He enjoys playing with legos, watching YouTube, and playing his xbox. His favorite holiday is, “my birthday!” His favorite thing about school is that all of his teachers are nice. Lastly, a goal that Brennan has for the year is, “to get more legos.”

Directions to Bloomer Middle School:

From the North:
Take the Hwy 64 Exit
Take Hwy 64 East - it joins with SS after about 1/2 mile
Turn RT on 64/SS at the stop sign
Continue on 64/SS
Take Hwy 40 /SS turn to Bloomer (RT hand turn)
Go about 1 mile - turn left on Veteran's Memorial Drive.
School is straight ahead.

From the South:
Take the Hwy 40 Exit at Bloomer (RT)Continue on Hwy 40 -
turn left on Main Street (which is still Hwy 40)
Continue on Main Street
Go North out of Bloomer
After crossing railroad tracks, continue about 1/4 mile
Turn RT on Veteran's Memorial Drive. (There is a right turn lane)
School is straight ahead.
